We are still open! But currently operating in a different way, in an attempt to best protect our customers, ourselves, our families, and our community.
Our doors may be locked but you are always welcome to call in or email any order requests. Please plan ahead as much as possible since our public hours of operation have been greatly reduced.
We will be doing grocery/prepared food pick up and our abbreviated menu on the weekends from 9am to 1pm. We will remain closed on Mondays and spend the rest of the week in the kitchen, cleaning, preparing pre-orders, cooking, baking, and working in the office. If you would like to order breakfast or lunch during the week please try to plan ahead and email me, Christina, at Christina@doughandcompany.com by 7pm the night before so that I can plan my day accordingly. I will always try to accommodate day-of orders, but it might not always be possible right now.
I truly love what I do and would like to be able to continue doing it for a long time. But but between a barebones staff, and juggling the homeschooling of my son during the week, it became apparent to me on Thursday that something was going to have to change, drastically, but temporarily.
I very much look forward to the day that I can throw my doors open wide and invite everyone in to eat, drink, laugh, talk, sing, and play. But until that day comes I will be working away, out of sight, in the kitchen: making the food you love; in the office: keeping the business going; and in the shop: organizing you curbside pick-ups. We can chat on the phone, wave from a distance and email one another. It will take some getting used to but this is a time for taking care of ourselves and after a great deal of thought, this is what I need to do to take care of myself, my son, and my business.
You have all been amazing, and words cannot convey how grateful I am for such an incredible community. Please continue to support me, other small business, and your loved ones through this difficult time. And don't forget to ask for what you need and make the time to take care of yourselves.
You are all appreciated and loved.
My sincerest gratitude,
